Dear colleagues,
We invite you to attend the 2nd International research and practice conference “Managerial Competences of a High-School Teacher”. The conference will take place at the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University on February 28, 2014.
Scientists, post-graduate students, Master’s degree students, teachers of high, secondary and primary schools, school managers are welcome to participate in.
Items to be discussed:
1. The essence of competences in teachers’ professional activity.
2. Teacher as a manager in democratic relations with students.
3. Teachers’ participation in management of higher educational institutions.
4. Teachers’ influence on the government administrative decision making (public consultation, expert evaluation within the working group).
5. Teacher’s self management.
Conference framework includes workshops, managerial competences development trainings, and contest for students.
Working languages: Ukrainian, Russian, English.
Conference proceedings will be published before the conference begins. Papers of the Conference-2013 could be seen at http://kiido.npu.edu.ua (tab “Science”).
To be published in the Conference proceedings, please, send the following materials to the Conference Organizing Committee no later than January 28, 2014:
1) electronic version of the paper that should be in MS Word format not more than 5 pages of A4 size paper;
2) application form that should include the stated full name, academic degree, academic title, position, place of work, postal address, contact telephone number, email address.
Technical Requirements for Papers:
– papers should be submitted in electronic form in MS Word for Windows, font “Times New Roman”, size 14, all margins – 20 mm, paragraph indention – 10 mm;
– electronic form of papers and abstracts should be sent by e-mail (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) as .doc, .docx or .rtf file. The subject of the message is “For the Conference”, file name – author’s surname;
– abstracts for English-speaking participants should be written in English. Translation into Ukrainian and Russian would be done by organizational committee;
– reference list should be placed after the text of the paper under the title “Bibliography”. A list of references should be numbered manually without using “Numeration” menu. References to sources should be in form [5, р.87], where 5 is the number of the source in reference list and 87 is a page number.
Organizational committee does not review or return papers but retains the right to select the materials for publishing.
